Dear Ali, the last part means: " We have to make a decision, not to speak Farsi, not to write in farsi."
They've seized our language and now they are making joke of us. It is not fair...
dear Nazanin,
I support your cause.
I personally like joking around about many things including people of other nations, other cities, women, gays, supporters of of the rival sport teams, etc. Menawhile I understand that those people are joking around about me :)
what is disgusting in this particualr issue ( and similar ones)is, in my point of view, the kind of power relation involved. It means that some ethnicity has the absolute right to abuse and mock and govern the other one and the second one is in absolute disadvantage.
I think this is absolutely wrong and should/would change very soon.
In solidarity,
-ali
I know my English skill is not well enough to write, but now I prefer to write in English rather than Farsi.
Dear Ali, I only want to say this, I don't like joking about our people. They are part of our body. I always say laughing together is better than laughing at the others. When they do, it hurts me a lot.
